SiteCare plugin is developed and maintained by SiteCare and Steve Zehngut.

How often should I run a SiteCare Score scan?

Run a SiteCare Score scan periodically, especially after making significant changes to your site (e.g., updating WordPress core, changing web hosts, renewing SSL certificates). We recommend monthly scans as a baseline.

What does the SiteCare Score represent?

The SiteCare Score is a numerical value (out of 100) that reflects the overall health and security of your WordPress site based on the scan results. A higher score indicates better site health and security.

Does the plugin email reports?

Yes, it does. If you’d like to have a report emailed, simply input the email where you’d like the results delivered on the SiteCare Scan page and we’ll send a link to view the report.

Does SiteCare Score fix the issues that it finds?

SiteCare Score is a diagnostic tool to help website owners and administrators identify hidden issues. For help addressing issues from the SiteCare Score report, contact the WordPress Support team at SiteCare.

Do you have any other features planned?

Yes, we’re actively working on a SiteCare Score dashboard widget, adding routine scheduled scans, better support for premium themes and plugins, and more specific recommendations. Stay tuned for more!
