Event Tracking

The RevLifter plugin tracks the following events:

1. Page View:

   • Information tracked: browser, device, and screen dimensions.

2. Basket/Cart:

   • This event is fired every time a change is made to the basket, including:
     • Adding to cart from the category/search page.
     • Adding to cart from the product detail page.
     • Any modifications to the cart on the cart page.
   • Information tracked: each item in the cart, currency, taxes, total price, and shipping. Cart item information includes SKU, Name, Categories, Brand, Price, Quantity, On Promotion, and Image.

3. Product Page View (PDP):

   • This event is fired when a user lands on any product page.
   • Information tracked: product details such as SKU, Name, Categories, Brand, Price, Quantity, On Promotion, and Image.

4. Sale:

   • This event is fired when a user completes a sale.
   • Information tracked: same data as the basket event, along with the order ID.

1. Download the RevLifter plugin from the official WordPress plugin repository or obtain it from the RevLifter website.
2. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/revlifter directory, or install the plugin directly through the WordPress plugins screen by searching for “RevLifter.”
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
4. Go to the “RevLifter” settings page, located under the “Settings” menu in your WordPress admin dashboard.
5. Enter your RevLifter API credentials provided by RevLifter’s team.
6. Save the settings.
