What is the Dengage plugin for?

The Dengage plugin enables seamless sync of data between Dengage and WooCommerce / WordPress. You just have to install the plugin, configure the settings, and you will be all set to go in terms of the integration.

What events does this Dengage plugin sync?

This plugin syncs all standard e-commerce events including all page view events (home, category, product, cart, and others), all order events (begin checkout, order placed), all shopping cart events (add/remove from cart), and search events. All events are synced from the frontend using the Dengage SDK that is injected on your storefront by the plugin directly.

How can I sync old data to Dengage using the plugin?

When you install and activate the plugin, all previous records for orders, products, and customers are automatically queued and synced to Dengage, so you do not need to perform any additional steps for initial data load/sync.

Does this plugin support webpush functionality for Dengage?

Yes, the plugin supports webpush functionality by installing and configuring Dengage’s service worker file on your storefront.

Here is how you can install the Dengage plugin:

  1. Install Dengage from the plugin directory or download the zip file from the marketplace and extract it inside the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Click on the Dengage CDMP menu item.
  4. Enter the required settings (including the API credentials, region, and SDK script from the Dengage CDMP app).
  5. Once you save the settings, the plugin will be activated, and data will now automatically sync between WordPress and Dengage.
