False hopes

It looks good from the start but then you have to sign up to create an account - no problem. But they immediately push you into an upgrade by forcing a stats counter on your webpage, if you don't want all your visitors to see it then you have to pay.

  1. Sign up for a free account at http://www.w3counter.com

  2. Enter your W3Counter username and password in the W3Counter page under Settings.

  3. Optionally add a widget to one of your sidebars to display a counter
